Sam Matthijs is a forged metalwork designer/maker, with a history in professional kitchens. These pans are an exploration and convergence of his experience in these two worlds.

His passion for the culinary and forged metalwork drives him to learn from each pan that he makes. Each being better than the previous whilst simultaneously becoming a guide to better the next.

As an artist, he currently revolves himself around designing for our pleasurable, meaningful and sometimes almost ritualistic habits that we have as human beings.

He calls it ‘Modern Ritualistic Design’.
