The Hill

My name is Rick Greswell. I’m a second year mature student in Photography.

This work is a fraction of a large series that formed a photobook I created for my Narrative Imaging module.

I love being outside, especially in the hills. Being part of the landscape gives me a sense of freedom, peace, space and an escape from everyday concerns. I use the concept of a journey from valley to summit as a metaphor for the change in mood and sense of elation I experience when I walk the hills and reach their tops.
