Why should we conform to stereotypes? Why should we act how society wants us to act based on our gender? This work explores the concept of rejecting the stereotypes given to women by society, inspired by the style from 50s vintage magazines. It shows the uncomfortableness felt by women who didn’t want these domestic roles. This series is inspired by the pop art and surrealism movements.
