Lewis Day (L6)BA (Hons) Graphic and Media Design
As a Graphic Designer, I have experimented with a range of styles. My greatest interest was piqued as I began to explore the more editorial side of design. Working with images and set text to create and measure out elements that bring hierarchy to visually pleasing outcomes. My projects also feature elements that reflect the work of Willy Fleckhaus and Vince Frost, as their designs use text to create shapes that synergise with the images used in tandem.
I have recently been introduced and inspired by certain magazines such as ‘GUAP’ and ‘i-D’ magazine that have heavily influenced the work I am producing today. Their contemporary rural themes are what I crave to emulate through my own vision, and what I hope to have the opportunity to work on in the future.
