My work has an autobiographical approach, usually focusing on a subject matter that explores nostalgia and traces of the past, through objects and inter-human relationships. The search for my missing grandfather and the heartfelt story that was uncovered has been an inspiration for current and future works.

These pieces have been portrayed through an array of materials. Recently the process has been an important factor, incorporating the idea of the ‘readymade’ and a pared-back aesthetic.

When encountering my work, the viewer can be struck with emotion as it allows them time to reflect on their own view point. You will frequently experience said pieces in the form of an installation or through a series of documentary imagery.
