I’m inspired by people and what makes them happy – how we move and respond to things and the different ways we see the world. I’m passionate about creating work that represents the ‘unseen’ moments in the world; the feelings, the memories and love in hidden places.
My work is constantly evolving and the way in which I work changes with each project. I’ve found that over the last two years of the course that I’m beginning to find my voice and create work that represents me and that I’m proud to share and it is one of the greatest feelings.
These pieces have been made during isolation and I think are my most successful to date – isolation time has allowed me to explore my current interests and inspirations in a deeper way. It’s also made me appreciate the studio time that I once took for granted, and I cannot wait to come back in my final year more inspired than ever.
