Henrietta the Hedgehog was a concept collection of greeting cards and gift wrap. I was fond of working in a more illustrative and character-based design. I create a lot of my work digitally on Adobe Illustrator or on my iPad using Procreate. I love how cards are a physical piece of design that has a personal touch and brings joy to the receiver. Ever since I’ve been young, I have always loved creating greeting cards to give to family and friends and would love to expand by creating and selling my own range for others to send. A dream career aspiration would be to see my designs in stores such as Paperchase. I have found lots of inspiration over the past few years by visiting the London Illustration Fair where artists, illustrators and designers set up stalls to sell their artwork. Some of my favorites were Hello Grimes, Blank Inside and Laura Nevill. I also find inspiration from designers Josef Müller-Brockmann and Saul Bass for working in a Swiss, minimal style. Furthermore, I take delight in creating branding and packaging in a minimal style with vector illustrations. I would love to work with brands on creating new identities in the future.
