Art has always been a passion of mine. The ability to take a thought, a feeling or a moment, and convey it, beyond the confines of the spoken word. I often think to all the things we’d like to say, if it weren’t for our, all too frequent, loss for words.

To me, art can be so many things, and come from so many places. From a faint, fuzzy image in the back of our minds to a fine point in our foresight.

Personally, I love to philosophise, perhaps a little too much at times. I enjoy asking questions and, as in any investigation, taking notes to help clarify and organise my thoughts. I suppose, quite often, the works I come up with are similar to these notes. Both clear and convoluted ideas are animated, born to life.

Another thing that truly fascinates me is perspective. How the meaning behind a piece of artwork doesn’t always rely solely upon the intent of the artist but unto the viewer, the audience, as well. Just as one statement, one drive, can mean many different things to many different people, so true is that of any artwork.
