Join us to celebrate the final exhibition of our 2017 MA Contemporary Crafts graduates.
Our Masters degree in Contemporary Crafts challenges and extends individual creative practice, allowing makers to achieve their professional and artistic goals. Throughout the course, students establish individual working methodologies which are authentic, sustainable and use reflective, creative and critical thinking. Students belong to a growing postgraduate community at HCA, which is passionate about their practice, creative in their approach to materials and processes, inspired by ideas and concepts, and empowered by research and theoretical engagement.
The exhibition will showcase a diversity of practice, representing the breadth of what is possible on our Contemporary Crafts MA. From conceptual, craftivist and socially engaged practice, to sculpture, installation and designed craft outcomes; graduate work will demonstrate a wealth of traditional and innovative materials and craft processes.
