Beginners Letterpress

A hands on introduction to the joys of letterpress. We will get inky with our collection of wood letters and use a 200 year old press to print them. Also using our tabletop Farley press. We will also learn how to use lead type and alongside that how to print It using an Adana press.

There will be scheme of work to take you through as many different techniques and equipment as possible. Then time at the end to initiate your own project building on what we have already covered.
