Biography

Andrew is an award-winning theatre maker and lecturer working across a number of creative disciplines within the Performing Arts Department.

Andrew trained as both an actor and theatre director at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and has continued to develop his creative and leadership practice with organisations including Clore leadership Programme, and National Theatre Wales. He was an Associate Artist at the Sherman Theatre in Cardiff where he co-created work exploring the multiple voices, alternative opinions and experiences of Cardiff’s diverse communities. 

As a professional director Andrew has worked for companies including: Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Sherman Theatre, National Theatre Wales, Pentabus Theatre, Northampton Theatres, Powerhouse and the National Trust. He has created and directed work for live theatre, digital spaces, installation and audio. 

As a creative facilitator Andrew has run both local and national courses for emerging writers and artists.
