Just because it is so much easier with bills and stuff like that, so it's one payment rather than if you went private, you'd be paying council tax. You'd have to sort out electric, water, and heating and everything. Whereas here it's all included, and it's just much much easier.

I live with five other people. So there's six of us now, and it's really nice. It's it's nice sharing with people that you know, but also having new people as well. There's a lot of variety, especially with different generations living here. So there's people who are 26 living here, and people who are freshly 18, and it's also interesting to see how different people adapt.

Yeah, just by making friends with other people, and then being invited into their flat, and you just talk to those members as well. It's just one big massive family, really. 

Because we have many of us have a lot of friends over that side and this side of the building - this is just just common ground that we can just come and meet up. And we have friends who don't live here, so we invite them round in order to have like parties and you know just communal gatherings, and it's just a really nice open space to share with new people as well.

Yeah, yeah, you can. So there's there's the ability to go and commune with other queer people, with other people who are only male or only female - comfort is a big thing here - and they definitely put you with people that you request to be put with as well.

Yes, really, really good friends. I mean, last year I met with more people on my course who I didn't even realize lived here, and now they're some of my closest friends. And  this year I've met more friends, and I hang around with them quite a lot, to be honest. Go out foraging, go out walking, stuff like that. 

It's really nice, and it doesn't always has to be like doesn't always have to be in here as well. We can go out and sit on the front and stuff like that, which is good - or if you just message people and say, 'I'm gonna have a nap, keep it down' everyone's pretty much respectful. No one really crosses any lines here that they shouldn't be.
