Katy Linton

2026 Degree Show - brand design by Dan Harris

BA(hons) Illustration

About the artist:

I am a HCA graduate from Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and I specialise in traditional mixed media creating work through combining watercolour, colouring pencil, biro and papercut.

My work is very quirky and focuses on themes of nostalgia and I am particularly interested in creating products of my work and have been selling prints, stickers etc at markets since Summer 2025.

About this project:

In the past year I have vended at a variety of art markets across the UK, getting myself out there and setting myself up for when I finish university.

This term has all been about creating more products and upgrading my stall display. The photos of my setup are from March at Blue Moon Makers Market in Birmingham.

Dissertation title:

"How illustrations change when they become commercialized."
