2026 Degree Show - brand design by Dan Harris

BA(hons) Illustration and Animation

About the artist:

I am a Cardiff based illustrator and graduate of the Illustration degree course at Hereford College of Arts. Working in a broad range of mediums, from watercolour, gouache, and acrylic, to clay, embroidery, and crochet, I enjoy exploring how these different materials and processes can work together to create engaging character and narrative led illustrations.

About this project:

Following a cast of characters called ‘The Shadow Creatures,’ this project features a series of ink and watercolour illustrations, including six one-page comics, and a 56 cm by 76 cm painting. Meet Wist, Smudge, Kub, Spog, and Mako, and discover all the mischief they get up to!

Dissertation title
