About the designer:

Friday Lawrence is an award-winning Contemporary Jewellery Designer.  Her practice is led by a lifelong fascination in the beauty she finds within industrial and utilitarian metalwork objects. Her collections are component led, starting with a range of inspirations such as industrial fixings, tools or pylons.

Blending traditional silversmithing techniques with modern technologies, Friday consciously elevates these often-overlooked items and challenges conventional notions of jewellery.  

Through her work, Friday hopes to evoke a curiosity that empowers the viewer to pick up the tools and get creative.
