About the artist:


I am a graduate of the BA (Hons) Illustration degree course at Hereford College of Arts, living and working in the English/Welsh Marches. My visual language and themes represent my keen interest in social history, folk art and popular culture, particularly of the mid-20th century.

About this project:


Inspired by Enid Marx and Margaret Lambert’s collection of Folk Art and popular culture, ‘Brick Dust and Flowers’ is an illustrated 36 page guidebook to an imagined collection of 12 objects that tell the story of Enid Marx and her achievements as an artist, illustrator and designer in 20th century Britain.
