Abi Esworthy

Degree Show branding

Abi Esworthy is an artist studying on the BA (Hons) Artist Blacksmithing degree.

About my work:

Inspired by birds, culture, and linguistics, Swallowtail explores the physicality and interpretation of the avian form. Forged and fabricated from steel and brass, the work contrasts the natural and artificial and explores the influence each has upon the other. An embodiment of myth emanating resplendence and grace.

DISSERTATION: Examining the role of narrative as applies to professional craft practices
