Welcome to MA Fine Art at HCA

We would like to welcome you to the MA Fine Art programme at HCA. We have really enjoyed meeting you at the various Open Days and interviews that have led up to your offer of a place on the course.

The regular taught days each week for lectures, seminars, tutorials and group activities will be Monday and Thursday, usually commencing at 10 am.

Remember that if you are based in England or Wales you are entitled to apply for student finance.

Please find your Course Information Pack in preparation for your studies. The enclosed enrolment forms must be completed and handed in during enrolment. Enrolment will take place on Thursday 24th September at 10.30 am at our College Road Campus.

Details on fees and finance arrangements can also be found on the online Digital Information Pack. Should you require any assistance completing the forms, help will be on hand from Registry and the Finance team.

The Registry and Finance office will be open from 9.00am to 4.00pm throughout the summer; please call 01432 273359 or email registry@hca.ac.uk should you require any further information.

In September, we will set up the MA social media groups, which can be used to contact each other about news and events relating to the MA – the group name will be sent to you via email so that you can join if you have an account, and you can also follow the Fine Art Instagram profile on @hcafineart. This profile features images from the previous MA summer shows.

Over the summer, we would like you to continue to research, read, collect, make, experiment, visit exhibitions and engage with the subject matter that you are interested in developing on the MA. We would also like you to bring a copy of your MA proposal, with any updates, to your first session.

Have a great summer and we look forward to seeing you in September!

Best wishes,

Dr Daniel Pryde-Jarman

(Head of School) & the MA Fine Art team
