This is a key role within the college, and primarily oversees the management, strategic organisation and delivery of our student recruitment programmes at all levels. Working closely with colleagues, the role holder will lead a small team in providing high-quality outreach at events, on campus and within key feeder schools and colleges. This includes overseeing HCA’s stand at UCAS fairs, presenting confidently to groups of staff and potential students and organising on-site taster sessions with academic staff. Travel will be an element of the role, as will occasional Saturday and evening working.
The outreach team is the central point of contact for potential students, and a key source of information on HCA’s courses, culture and creative education. The team also play a critical role in maintaining and building relationships with key stakeholders at feeder schools and colleges.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing new programmes that promote awareness of creative careers, the impact of the arts and of creative education. This will be done in collaboration with marketing and leadership teams, but you will be the operational lead.
You will need to be an excellent communicator, be confident managing multiple projects simultaneously and working with staff across the college. We are also looking for someone who can support their team, and the wider academic staff, to deliver memorable presentations and communications.
