We are seeking an experienced administrator or PA with a track record of implementing and improving systems and supporting others to work efficiently.

Salary: £24,081 - £27,034 FTE per annum (depending on experience)

This is the opportunity to work at the heart of Hereford College of Arts, in a dynamic, ambitious and friendly environment.   For this new role, we are looking for an experienced administrator or PA with a track record of implementing and improving systems and supporting others to work efficiently. You will need to communicate and work effectively with many different people across the college and externally.  You will be highly organised and confident to organise others, managing changing priorities and sometimes working under pressure.  You must be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.

It is vital that you have an aptitude for administration along with excellent oral and written communication skills, and be a confident user of IT.  Discretion and confidentiality are also important as the role will have access to sensitive college information.  Experience of drafting or reviewing policies and procedures is desirable.

The job is being offered as full or part time to suit a range of candidates; if appointed part- time hours might be spread across 4 or 5 days within normal working hours. However, this is offered as a year-round role rather than term-time only.   Some flexibility is needed, for example to support occasional early/ late meetings and events, with notice.  You will be based at HCA’s College Road campus but attend meetings as required at Folly Lane a short distance away.
