I’m inspired by social interaction involving utensils that allow for us to consume in a creative and charming way. I begin creating spoons with found materials which allow the designs to playfully come alive! I hope to break down the boundaries of dining, giving a fun and memorable experiences to the users, this is through the production of small tea services!

My starting point is to look at how objects are held in the hand and how they are used. I have an eclectic mix of inspirations. Form, colour and material are key also. I shall take the found object spoons I have created and will translate these into ceramic spoons which may include elements of other materials with CMF (colour, material & finish) in mind. I aspire to continue making playful tea services and start a creative business post MA.
