Nick graduated from UWE’s BA (Hons) Fashion/Textiles in 2007 where he won the prestigious Gold Award at Graduate Fashion Week.
For the next nine years, he worked as a fashion knitwear designer in both the luxury and high-street sectors, more recently based overseas. It was during this time Nick took the decision to return to the UK and re-focus his creative direction.
Graduating from the MA Textile Design Innovation at Nottingham Trent, he has developed a research-led practice that explores the notion of a ‘shared creative experience’. He strives to raise awareness of inclusive practices within art and design by developing tactile tool-kits that engage audiences with materials and the making process itself.
