Keith joined the staff of HCA in March 2018 having previously taught on the MA Screen course at Central St Martins/Drama Centre London. Starting out as a writer-film maker of corporate videos and a researcher in TV documentaries, Keith worked as a script editor for BBC and ITV.
As a full time writer with over two decades of experience he has written for a diverse range of dramas including Emmerdale, EastEnders, Casualty, Byker Grove, Doctor Who, Doc Martin and his own original film for BBC 1 Angel Cake. He is also a published author and playwright/director as well as a consultant in film and television. With changes in the industry leading to greater opportunities for film makers to make their movies and attract audiences online and at festival, Keith is excited to be working with new and emerging film makers, helping them to develop their confidence, to find their own distinct voice, enabling them to use their skills to stand out and thrive in a competitive industry.
