These workshops are designed specifically for those who are attending high school, and love the arts. These workshops aim to provide a creative outlet for young people during the Easter holidays. Working alongside our expert teaching staff and accessing our specialist resources: each workshop provides an opportunity to learn new skills and make like-minded friends.

  • Stencil Screen Printing with John Sanders

We will be hand cutting our own designs into stencils, we will then be printing them onto fabrics. You will explore shapes and pattern to create your unique design. Do bring a t-shirt if you would like to print on your own top.

  • Digital Editing for Social Media with Alex Burns

Learn how to edit content for social media using Adobe Photoshop. You will cover the basics of correcting lighting, colour and imperfections.

  • Acting for Camera with Mia Gordon

This is a beginner’s class for young people in professional acting for camera: learn how to alter your performance for long shots and close ups, how to play your performance to the camera and understand how to collaborate with the camera to get your best performance across.

  • Design for a festival with Hannah Jones

Inspired by the fantastical folk-art characters of the Green Man festival, we will design characters and environments for festival sets and merchandise.

  • Ceramic Easter Egg decoration with Hannah Day

Fun filled ceramic Easter themed workshop, you will have the chance to decorate a press mould ceramic egg with colourful underglazes. Your piece will be dipped in a clear glaze and fired in our kiln and will be ready for collection two weeks after.

  • Rock ‘n’ Pop Band Workshop with Stevie Callender

In this jam packed workshop we will be learning, rehearsing, and performing as a band a range of covers or original music. You will be put in a band where you can play/learn a range of instruments from drums, bass guitar, electric/ acoustic guitar, vocals, keyboard and many more. You have the opportunity to songwrite and play with your band mates. Whether you’re a total beginner, a grade 8 musician or just an outright music lover, sign up today.
