Since 2020 Covert Firmament has produced the award-winning The Separation, Read to Me which recently screened in Dublin, Seine, Never Your Hand in Mine, and Murder Song – they were also guest artists for The Living Record Festival. Led by Dan Horrigan a director and writer with over 100 festival appearances and whose screenplay Populace was directed by Aaron Bevan Bailey and hand-picked for Danny Boyle’s Shuffle Festival and who is a festival judge for leading fests in the USA – you can expect to develop your understanding of writing for screen, as well developing your voice – you’re writing your stories. The course will be a combination of teaching, exercises, writing, videos, and seminars.
