with Alan Harrold

This course aims to familiarise you with the main aspects of the creative process and allow you to develop a portfolio of drawings and ideas that may aid you in the pursuit of new areas of study. With drawing at the core, skills will be sharpened through class activities and both self-initiated and tutor led projects. Painting and print will also be introduced to allow you to further develop your skills. The course will include a trip designed to inform and assist your work, and a visit from a guest practitioner who will share their own knowledge and experiences. At the end of the course there is an opportunity to informally discuss progression at HCA.

Basic materials and brushes are supplied to get you started, you will be advised of any additional materials and brushes required depending on what you would personally like to achieve.

Please note: There will be no session on Friday 10 April & Friday 17 April 2020 due to the Easter break.
