with Kim Dalziel

Drawing is a fundamental skill that all of us possess but is often neglected or undermined in our changing lives. The benefits of looking through drawing are deep and far reaching. Drawing allows you to momentarily focus on the world, creating a conversation between your eye, the object, and your hand. Over the six sessions of this course you will be carefully guided through many technical skills. Using individual still life compositions to enable sustained observation, You will be involved in the expressive and playful potential of drawing.

Suitable for beginners or those wishing to develop their confidence in drawing. Basic materials supplied to get you started, you will be advised of any additional materials required depending on what you would personally like to achieve. The course is designed to either be a compliment to the Introduction to Painting short course, or a stand-alone Introduction to Drawing.
