I choose to do my degree at Hereford College of Arts for a number of different reason but the one thing that really attracted me to HCA was the smaller class sizes and the regular time that you get to spend with your tutors.

The tutors and Staff at HCA are friendly and extremely helpful.

The access to a range of different workshops gave me the chance to experiment with materials I wouldn’t have thought about working with. The tech dems are full of knowledge and are really good at helping you to create your ideas.

I am now working as a Graduate Ambassador at HCA as well as a freelance graphic designer for MA Graphic Design.

The thing I found most useful whilst studying at HCA was the live briefs, where we learnt how to interact with clients and to sell practice.

I really enjoyed working with a number of local Businesses, Giving me the chance to see my work being used and enjoyed by the public.

My proudest achievement whilst at HCA would be working with Hereford Bid to design the new Hereford city signage systems. The signs have now been put into place and will be a prominent feature of Hereford city centre.

There is a lot to do in Hereford outside of Uni hours and it has a wide range of places to eat and drink. Hereford is a lovely city with historic connections but also all you need from a modern centre.

If you want a friendly place to work & learn with smaller groups and options to collaborate and experiment I think HCA will be the place for you.
