Taster Days
Visit our campus and get a taste of studying at Hereford College of Arts!
We can contribute towards travel (decided on a case- by – case basis).
Pre- Options Taster Day
Designed for students to get a taste of studying at the art college before they pick their options.
- Years 7 – 9.
- Subject to numbers and requirements.
- Achieves Gatsby benchmarks 4, 5 and 7.
General Taster Day
This includes a talk about studying at Hereford College of Arts, a tour of our Folly Lane/ College Road campus and a choice of workshops to try.
- Years 10 –11, 12 & 13.
- All day/ half day.
- Usually a maximum of 60 students.
- Achieves Gatsby benchmarks 4, 5 and 7.
Course- Specific Taster Day
Students can choose a college/ degree* course that they are interested in and spend the day with the course leader, hear about the course and enjoy a longer workshop in the subject area.
Or you can choose a couple of specific courses that you would like your students to experience and we can cater the taster day to them!
- Years 10 – 11, 12 & 13.
- All day/ half day.
- *5 – 12 students required in each course area for degree courses.
