HEREFORD COLLEGE OF ARTS - UNDERGRADUATE TASTER DAYS 2012/2013
The purpose of our Taster Days is to give Further Education students the opportunity to experience their subject specialism in our higher education studios and workshops. Our free Taster Days will give students a flavour of what sort of work they will be doing on a BA (Hons) degree course. It will also give students the opportunity to meet some of our own Higher Education students and staff and a chance to see the College. The Taster Days run from 10.30am to 3.15pm including a free sandwich lunch. Taster Days are aimed at groups of students from regional colleges. Tutors contact us to book students onto a Taster Day and organise buses to transport students. If you are a student interested in coming to a Taster Day, please speak to your tutor. Helping you make the right decision!
Come on one of our tasters and ask yourself the following questions...
Is the course what I'm looking for and what are the facilities like?
What are the studios like - will I have my own workspace?
Are tutors and staff friendly and supportive?
What is the technical support like?
What are the differences between an arts college and a university?
Will I be offered advice about my portfolio and interview?
Will I be happy here?
