HCA Accessibility Statement
Hereford College of Arts is fully committed to making its web pages accessible to all, As an institution we are working to improve the accessibility and usability of our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services for disabled users.

All of the following pages aim to be accessible to W3C A compliance or better, complying with priority 1 and 2 guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

Assistive technologies have been designed to assist people with disabilities to carry out their daily activities. These pages are accessible to common software-based technologies including screen readers, screen magnifiers and speech synthesisers.

We have also tested the site extensively in a wide range of browsers and settings, to ensure that the site functionality is available to as many users as possible. By improving both the accessibility and usability of our site, we are seeking to meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 Part Four (as amended by Special Educational Needs Disability Act 2001).

Standards and guidelines do not necessarily address all accessibility problems, so we particularly encourage anyone having difficulties using our site to contact us directly so we can fix any outstanding problems. Comments on any matter concerning the college accessibility pages, can be sent to the Web Editor.
