Bob’s work is a journey through photographic processes. Fascinated by the potential of tangibly working with the medium, he has made discoveries through experimentation with film and print. He works with the medium to explore and interpret layers within the landscape, exploring time as an integral element in photography and how this can be reflected in the elements of landscape he engages with.
“Hell Lane” is a holloway, a deep and shady path that has been carved out over hundreds of years of use. Using a pinhole camera and long exposure, it explores how landscape connects place to place, person to person and now to then.
