The FE workshop rotations have well and truly started…we are now in our 3rd week and the students are loving it! ED Year 1 have their first introduction to the Small Metals workshop; using simple techniques such as rolling and press-forming and equipment such as the torches, rolling mill and fly-press they produced three copper samples.

ED Year 1 have their first introduction to the Small Metals workshop; using simple techniques such as rolling and press-forming and equipment such as the torches, rolling mill and fly-press they produced three copper samples. These samples were loosely based around the theme of maps.
It was impressive to see such an able group of ED students whose designs were well thought out and whose approach to the workshop environment was mature and sensible.
