The Fresh Air sculpture show  is a curated, biennial exhibition hosted by Lucy and David Abel-Smith at The Old Rectory, Quenington, Gloucestershire.  As part of their last three shows , they have invited our students generate proposals for works to be exhibited.  This is a great opportunity for the students selected. Fresh Air is a very high profile sculpture show and the students will have an opportunity to exhibit alongside nationally and internationally recognised artists and sculptors.

Yesterday saw one of our third year and all our second year BA(Hons) Artist Blacksmithing students  present their design boards , sketchbooks and forged samples to the Fresh Air curators . We used the corridor outside the design studio’s to display the work , it looked fabulous , everyone had worked hard and we definitely gave the curators a difficult job in terms of selection , they’ve promised to confirm the final list of selected works before the end of week – so they’ll be more blog posts to follow check out more about the Fresh Air sculpture at www.freshairsculptureshow.com
