HCA's Young Photographer - The Winners

We are so excited to share with you the fantastic winners & highly commended entries of this year’s competition, and remind you to come and see the dynamic exhibition which brings together the work of over 150 young photographers from across Herefordshire and country wide. With this year’s competition receiving an exceptionally high standard of work across all three categories the exhibition is showcasing 9 overall winners, highly commended images, special awards given to the best images of Herefordshire, and many more!

The judges -  see below from left to right - Chairman of the Hereford Round Table Andy Banks, Principal and Chief Executive of Hereford College of Arts Abigail Appleton, Hereford College of Arts Governor Oliver Tomlinson & Herefordshire Photographer Oliver Cameron Swan - had a difficult challenge on their hands; there were so many fantastic entries, all interpreting this year's theme "My Favourite Place".

All entries & winners are currently on show at the HCA's Young Photographer Exhibition, which is open from 9am-4.30pm Monday to Friday until Friday 21st April 2017 at our Folly Lane Campus. Everyone is welcome, so come along and see what the next generation of talented photographers has to offer!
