We hope you had a great day at the Craft Festival Cheltenham.

We are really proud to support the event, and to be part of a national community of talented makers, artists and designers. HCA’s School of Materials + Design has a longstanding relationship with the festival’s organisers, and we are grateful for the support and insight they provide our students through professional practice sessions on-campus.

If you are thinking about developing your own practice, and investing in yourself as an artist or maker, HCA has a number of courses that can help you do that.

Our staff teams bring a wealth of professional experience, and a personal approach to teaching that is at the core of our ethos as a truly specialist art school with around 500 degree students.

If you want to find out more about HCA, and visit our historic campus and fantastic workshops and studio spaces, there are still some places on our upcoming Open Days on Dec 5, Jan 20 and Feb 13. You can book your spot here.

You can also fill out our quick Enquiry Form below and we can put you in touch with our degree course leaders, our Portfolio course staff, or arrange a personal tour for you to visit us.

We are about to launch a free public event series in 2024 which will welcome some of the leading voices in the UK’s creative sector, from award-winning artists, to specialists in sustainable design.

And in March 2024 we also welcome back Ferrous Festival. An international festival of metalwork run by our BA Artist Blacksmithing  course lead Del Done MBE, Ferrous is a free celebration of design and creativity that features exhibitions and talks across across a number of city-centre sites in Hereford.

We will be posting updates on both, including dates and speakers, soon on our Instagram page. You can follow here so you don’t miss out: @herefordarts .

Hope to see you on campus soon.
