Digital Realities: 13th February 2018, 5.30 - 7pm

This year’s event explores ‘digital realities’. Our speaker, Mick Hurst, will discuss augmented reality (AR), a technology which superimposes a computer-generated image over a user’s view of the real world. Mick will talk about the benefits AR has for business, and its impact on the visual media industry. The evening will also include a talk from Innes Jones, HCA Course Leader for BA (Hons) Graphic and Media Design. Innes will discuss how involving his students in live business briefs can be a real benefit to both parties.

The event will include an opportunity to enjoy an informal networking session over a drink, and a chance to get involved with an immersive interactive experience using a virtual reality console.
